On behalf of DHL, Micromata programmed an online franking service that makes it possible to pay for parcels and parcel stamps online – highly available and 100% secure.
DHL Online Franking generates 50 PDFs per second. It is also available 24/7/365 and runs very efficiently even with high data loads. Thanks to its scalability, it can also be expanded as required and the quantity can be increased at any time.
For the user, the application is easily and conveniently accessible via the Internet. Clearly arranged screens guide the customer via a secure connection through the product selection, to the entry of address data, to payment, and all the way to the printout of the prepaid shipping slip on the customer’s own printer.
The customer selects a product, adds recipient and sender data, pays via PayPal or POSTPAY, prints out the stamp, books a pickup or drops off the package directly at the post office. eBay customers can take advantage of a very special service. They no longer have to enter their shipping data manually, but transfer it to the DHL application with just a few clicks. In the process, security is 100% guaranteed for all parties.
