When the tiger ducks of Kassel take a bath in the Fulda river, that's not only to practise breast stroke but to do something good. As the revenues of the tiger duck race go to the association Soziale Hilfe e. V. and inure to the benefit of people who have fallen on hard times.

The art associaton »Kasseler Kunstverein« has a long tradition. To celebrate its 175th anniversary, there's been an event of very special kind: well-known artits from the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland presented their audience  »Performance à la carte« and amazed them quite a lot with their program. The pay of the artist group ITZ has been provided by Micromata.

What would the world be without literature! And what would it be without writers who contrast the crookedness of life with their brilliant and fearless humour. For example at the »Tresenlesen« in 2010 at the Caricatura Bar. Sponsored by Micromata.

Future depends on the offspring. Micromata therefore supports projects which focus on the young. This could be sports clubs as well as initiatives for social education.
